The USPC was closely modeled after The British Pony Club. It was established with a clear, timeless vision: to promote the values of sportsmanship, stewardship, and leadership through horsemanship.

DelMarVa Roots Starting in 1959

Founded in 1959 with the historic chartering of the Delaware Pony Club, the DelMarVa Region of the United States Pony Clubs (USPC) grew alongside the area's rich equestrian and foxhunting traditions. Today, it operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serving hundreds of young riders across Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.

Having fun and building lifelong friendships with peers.

We are an active community of youth and adult equestrians dedicated to putting the welfare of the horse first. Through the incredible support of our parents and volunteers, Delmarva Region members participate in lessons, horse management clinics, and rallies—learning proper equine care, improving their riding skills, and having fun along the way.
